High Desert Little League is proud to serve the North Valley with two seasons.
Fall
Our fall season is a development season for kids to learn, play and expand on their knowledge and skill for the games of baseball and softball. This is a good time to get into baseball and softball if you are new to the game.
Our fall season extends from the beginning of September to the end of November.
Spring
Spring is our competitive season with kids playing games with the hopes to make an All-Star team and the opportunity to play for the Little League Word Series Championship. The spring season starts with early registration near the end of November, the tryouts and drafts in January and games starting in late February / early March.
If you are unsure of what division your player should be in please use the official

All-Stars
The All-Star teams provide opportunity for selected players from the Spring Season to play for the Little League Word Series Championship. Tryouts are conducted May 15th and practices typically start shortly thereafter. Depending on the success of the team to advance from District to State to Regional tournaments and possibly beyond, the All Star season could extend until August. Teams are provided practice and game uniforms, branded equipment to use during the season, and almost daily field time. For the 2024 All Star season, the cost per player, if selected, could be approximately $100.
Games and Practice
High Desert Little League uses the fields in Anthem for practice and games. At times some coaches will use smaller parks or go to batting cages in order to provide additional practice times for the players.
Equipment
High Desert Little League supplies every Manager that volunteers for a season with equipment. They are supplied with a hitting net, batting tee, catchers gear, pitch counter, first-aid kit, scorebook and a bucket of practice balls. Players should bring their own glove. Bats, helmets, catcher's gear is available to check out on an individual basis.
Uniforms
Uniforms are included with your registration in High Desert Little League. We provide each player a shirt and hat. Pants, socks, belt and cleats are not included; it is recommended that you wait to purchase pants, belt and socks until after the first practice, when the coach will make a decision with the team as to the color of pants.
